Team sponsors.

The competitor is obliged to inform Porsche AG of all potential partners/sponsors and to obtain written authorisation. Team partners/sponsors may not support more than two teams, each with two cars, and may therefore only appear on the stickers of four cars. Team partners/sponsors must be submitted to the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Organisation at least seven days prior to the event.

Porsche AG reserves the right to reject potential partners/sponsors. The livery of the car with the sponsor identification is generally left to the teams. However, the requirements of Porsche AG regarding the mandatory stickers and logos of the series sponsors, the starting numbers, the drivers' names and their placement must be observed. Details of the decal regulations can be found in the diagram below.

The reserved and available positions for your own use can be found in the 2023 sticker regulations.

Sticker regulations.

The Series Organiser offers the following sticker positions:

  1. The obligatory stickers can only be obtained from Porsche AG.

  2. The minimum distance between the stickers must be at least 30 mm.

  3. Sticker positions 1-33 are reserved exclusively for Porsche AG.

  4. If positions 12, 14, 16-21, 24, 30-33 are not occupied by Porsche AG, they shall be available until revoked. Such revocation will be announced by the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Organisation in good time, at least four weeks before the revocation takes effect.

  5. All positions in direct view of the on-board cameras (dashboard, etc.) in the interior and exterior areas of the race car are reserved for Porsche AG and may not be used by the teams.

  6. The use of current or historic livery of Porsche Motorsport works race cars is reserved for Porsche AG.

Exclusivity rule: Advertising of team partners that compete with partners of Porsche AG, Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and/or cooperation partners shall be prohibited. In regards to the exclusivity of the partners of Porsche AG following rules apply. The exclusivity rule refers to the industry sector or to the product range of a manufacturer. There is no exception for exclusivity partners.

Michelin is the exclusive partner of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. Therefore it is forbidden for teams to communicate or advertise for companies or products that are competitors of Michelin.

HUGO BOSS is the exclusive apparel and teamwear partner of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. The exclusivity is limited to the relationship with Porsche and not to the advertising space on the race cars, which is available to competitors. This means that competitors can still display their own apparel partner on the car, as long as the HUGO BOSS logo is also displayed on the car. Furthermore, a maximum of four race cars may be exempted from the obligation to display the HUGO BOSS logo, with the decision on such exemptions being made solely by the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Series Organiser.

Mobil 1 is the exclusive lubricant partner of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and therefore competitors are prohibited from communicating or advertising for companies or products that are competitors of Mobil 1 lubricants.

For fuels, competitors may communicate or advertise for other companies under the following conditions and subject to final approval by Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG:

  • The product brand "fuel" must be clearly distinguishable from the company brand, e.g. "V-Power" or "Ultimate".

  • A maximum of one team with 3 cars can communicate or advertise for one fuel brand. The date of contract signing is definitive.

Any fuel team sponsorship must be approved by Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG prior to the signing of any agreement between a competitor and a potential fuel sponsor.

In the current season, team partners may be exempted from this rule if the official series or cooperation partners have not been announced until the first event. The date of signing of the contract is decisive. There is no exception for partners of exclusivity.

For questions or additional information, please contact the Porsche Motorsport Business Relations Team, Mr Bernd Simmendinger (bernd.simmendinger@porsche.de) or Ms Andrea Hagenbach (andrea.hagenbach@porsche.de). The sticker regulations are subject to amendment.

All affixing of badges to overalls shall be done in a professional manner and in accordance with ISC Appendix L Chapter III Article 2.

Embroidery sewn directly onto the overall must be sewn onto the outermost layer only. Badge backing material must be flameproof and conform to ISO 15025 (NOMEX). The backing material used to attach the badge to the overall must be flameproof and conform to ISO 15025 (NOMEX). It is also recommended that the embroidery thread used for badges is flameproof and complies with ISO 15025 (NOMEX). Heat bonding should not be used when attaching badges and signs to overalls.
