In Spielberg we’ll not only be celebrating a full field of drivers, but also the official Get Together marking 30 Years Porsche Supercup – involving many former protagonists in the series. We are already looking forward to exchanging the best stories from a long Supercup history.
After the third round of the jubilee season in Silverstone, the top of the overall standings has moved even closer together. Ten Voorde, #3 Laurin Heinrich(DEU/SSR Huber Racing), Dylan Pereira and #6 Harry King (GBR/BWT Lechner Racing) are separated by a total of just 19 points. In the Rookie category, Dane #7 Bastian Buus (BWT Lechner Racing) extended his lead and is now in front by 31 points ahead of Briton #9 Lorcan Hanafin (20 pts/FACH AUTO TECH) and Dutchman #17 Loek Hartog (14 pts/Ombra Racing). In the ProAms, #21 Roar Lindland(NOR/Pierre Martinet by Alméras) is clearly in front.
At the Red Bull Ring, the permanent field of drivers will once again be strengthened by four Porsche 911 GT3 Cup guest entries. In addition to the Swedish team Fragus Motorsport with drivers #30 Pontus Fredriksson and #31 Hampus Eriksson, the German team ID Racing led by former racer Iris Dorr will also make a guest appearance at the pinnacle of the international Porsche one-make cups. Their drivers: #40 Georgios Frangulis (BRA) and #41 Michael Verhagen (NLD).

Motorsport fans will get goosebumps as the thunder of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race cars echoes off the Styrian rock faces. And the Porsche Supercup international community can be there live! Free practice begins on Friday evening at 6:30 pm (CEST). Qualifying follows at Saturday lunchtime at 1:55 pm (CEST) and on Sunday at 11:50 am (CEST) the field will start the fourth round of the 2022 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season. Individual sessions can be seen live on TV depending on the country, but local broadcasting rights may vary according to broadcaster.
Just two weeks later, we’ll be meeting again in France for the 5th round of the anniversary season at the 2022 Formula 1 Grand Prix de France at the Circuit Paul Ricard from 22 to 24 July. Be Part of Us!
