Porsche factory driver: Kévin Estre

It is safe to say that Kévin Estre was born with a passion for motorsports: his father had already raced in go-karts and single-seaters. So, it was only natural for the young Estre to follow in his footsteps and get behind the wheel at the tender age of four. Karting became a constant in his childhood and youth, until he switched to single-seaters at the age of 17. His dream at the time: to compete in Formula 1.

Just a year later, Kévin Estre realized that he most probably would not get further than Formula Renault. But that didn't stop him from pursuing a career in motorsport. Instead of sticking to single-seaters, Estre focused on sports cars and got a head start directly in the Porsche Carrera Cup in France.

The Frenchman proved his mettle in the Porsche One-Make Series, regularly finishing in the top 5 in series and on the podium in the overall rankings. In 2011, he won the Porsche Matmut Carrera Cup in France and in 2023 he won the Porsche Carrera Cup in Germany.

From then on, his career took off: several race series in a year, several good finishes and finally, Porsche offered him a contract as a factory driver. And that's where he continues to race after each and every victory.

Victory drives me, and my goal for the next season is to win the overall victory in Le Mans with the 963!

Due to his experience in the GTE Pro-class of the World Endurance Championship and single-seaters, Kévin Estre is well-prepared to win on international racetracks with the Porsche 963.
