Overview of PESC

When Porsche and iRacing call for a world championship, the elite in sim racing assemble. Welcome to the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup by iRacing 2023. Only the best virtual racing drivers make it here in the first place. And first place is what they are all fighting for. Watch the action and all the rivalries across ten racing weekends, with each race taking place on legendary circuits such as Circuit de la Sarthe and the Nürburgring. Each race is demanding, requiring intense training and the utmost focus from each competitor. So, what drives our contestants and keeps their competitive edge sharp? It’s not just the grand total of $200,000 prize money. It's the thrill of being part of the world’s sim racing elite, at the very apex of racing.

All races of the PESC will be conducted through the online racing simulation platform – iRacing. This provides an incredible level of detail, including the use of LIDAR-scanned tracks and cars, with an insane amount of fine tuning made possible. Add physical realism and almost 200,000 passionate subscribers. iRacing provides a racing experience that is almost more real than brick and mortar racing.

The grand total of $200,000 prize money for the winner

The PESC also provides twice the fun, since each race day consists of two races: After competing for the first points in Qualifying and the best starting positions, next up is the Sprint Race – which will last approx. 40km depending on the track. This is then followed by the Main Race, limited by the number of laps.

And it’s of note that the starting grid of the Main Race is the inverse of the Sprint Race. So, it’s all to race for. Because whoever comes in last out of the top eight drivers during the Sprint will have leading position in the Main Race – and vice versa.

If you want to see the very best sim racers in competition, admire their skill and dedication, and feel the thrill of racing, then the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup by iRacing, livestreamed only on Porsche Twitch channel and our Porsche Youtube Channel, is the way to go.

Qualifying Series

Taking place before the season start, the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup Qualifying Series is a standalone series open for any iRacing member with a high road license level B 4.00. This serves as the entry method to the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup Contender Series, to which the 15 best sim racers will advance.

Contender Series

Every Season, the PESC season kicks off with the Contender Series.

Those on the grid have either finished in the top 15 of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup Qualifying Series Or, finished 15th through to 30th in the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup 2022. Also part of the Series are select regional champions, such as the winner of the Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Great Britain.

Of all participants, only 15 will advance joined by the Top 15 from the last Main Season, to round out the final field of 30.

February 4th will see our 30 final contestants hit the virtual Hockenheimring for the first of 10 Races across the world’s most famous tracks, including Silverstone, Spa, Monza and the Circuit de la Sarthe, also known as Le Mans. Every race day we will see both the Sprint and Main Race. Through their placement in each, our competitors will win points in the overall Series Standings. And who is at the Top after the last race on June 3rd will be the overall Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup Champion 2023.

Will Diogo C. Pinto defend his hard-won championship? Or will 2020’s Champion Sebastian Job make his comeback?
For them and every other contestant, every place, in every race, at every point, can make the difference between triumph or tragedy.
