Porsche factory driver: Michael Christensen

Compared to other drivers, Michael Christensen started karting relative late. He started at the age of ten and quickly rose to national and international levels. After eight years in karting, he took the plunge into Formula motorsport and continued gaining experience there.

In 2011, Christensen began to make a name for himself in GT racing. With success: In 2012, he made the switch to full-time GT racing and joined the Porsche Junior program. This finally gave Michael the chance to achieve what he had always hoped for: to earn a living solely from motorsport.

Now, the Dane has finally achieved this goal. When he's not on the road, Michael spends time with his family. But he also enjoys traveling around the world and competing in races. To do this successfully, he puts a lot of thought into his driving style: He describes himself as a conservative driver who carefully balances risk and reward. For him, this is the key to successful endurance racing.

Michael Christensen's factory vehicle: the Porsche 963 #5.

It’s an honor being in the fight for winning the world championship and overall victory in Le Mans.
