In the realm of virtual motorsport, the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup by iRacing (PESC) sets the golden standard, an arena where only the very best virtual racing drivers make it. It's a stage where dedicated drivers, risk-takers, and fierce competitors come to race and is now returning for its sixth season. However, earning a place on the grid is far from easy – all participants hoping to reach the 2024 PESC must first qualify in the PESC Contender Series.
The PESC Contender Series kicks off on September 23, 2023, and determines the lineup for the 2024 Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup by iRacing. A total of 34 skilled racers will battle for a coveted spot; the top 15 from the qualifying rounds will go head-to-head with drivers who finished between 16th and 30th in the 2023 PESC edition, as well as regional champions from the Porsche Esports racing series in England, Denmark, Brazil and Canada respectively. When the Contender Series concludes, only the best 15 drivers will secure their spots in the 2024 PESC, where they will compete against the top 15 finishers from the previous year.
