Le Mans Virtual Series chapter 2: 4h action in Monza.

When someone thinks of racing in Monza, every motorsport fan immediately pictures high speed, tight chicanes, and spectacular overtaking action. It is no coincidence that the 5.793-kilometer-long track is called the "Temple of Speed". They worship motorsport in Northern Italy. And yet, round #2 of the Le Mans Virtual Series takes us to the virtual North of Italy. On 8 October, the world's elite sim racers will duel here for four hours. The Porsche Coanda Esports Racing Team will push themselves to the limit to be at the front after missing out on crucial points with a DNF and P4 in Bahrain.

Highspeed in Monza.

We'll likely see many overtakes right after the 1,120m long start-finish straight into the chicane. Similar to the drivers in real motorsports, the sim racers will use the slipstream on the main straight to get as close as possible just to get the move done into the chicane. Of course, Monza is way more than just one chicane. The track excels through highspeed corners where motorsport fans cheer for their favourites as they are not allowed to set one foot wrong. To make the difference, the driver's concentration must be at the top level throughout the entire lap.

Live onboard

We’ll be streaming the second round of the Le Mans Virtual Series live on the Porsche Twitch channel for all sim racing fans and those who cheer for the Porsche Coanda Team and its drivers.
