Le Mans Virtual Series Round 1 Bahrain

Le Mans Virtual Series chapter 1: the 8h of Bahrain.

The Le Mans Virtual Series quickly evolved into one of the highlights in everyone's calendar who's into sim racing. The wait is finally over: on Saturday, 17 September, the new season kicks off with round #1. The first of the five spectacular race weekends takes us to virtual Bahrain. There, the world’s best drivers will duel for eight hours. Our Porsche Coanda Esports Racing Team will also be fighting for the win in the desert. Two LMP2 cars will be fielded by Porsche Coanda, as they’re called in this series.

The challenges in the desert.

The Bahrain International Circuit’s Grand Prix layout is 5.412 kilometres long with 15 corners in total. Not only Formula 1, but also the World Endurance Championship race in Bahrain since 2012. In 2015, the Porsche LMP1 team with Romain Dumas, Neel Jani, and Marc Lieb won on the desert track. For the world's sim racing elite, it's the first time in Bahrain since the track will only be released to the public on the rFactor2 platform after the season's first race.

Join live onboard.

Get into the Porsche Coanda cockpit during the 8h of Bahrain. We'll stream our works team's race, and the driver's onboards live on the Porsche Twitch channel. The racing action will start Saturday at 2PM (CEST). For all information and news about the Porsche Coanda Esports Racing Team, follow Coanda's social media platforms, the Porsche Twitch channel, and the Porsche Motorsports Hub: Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
