The driver line-up for Porsche Coanda at the Le Mans Virtual Series.

The Porsche Coanda Esports Racing Team, or Porsche Coanda as we are called in this racing series, will field homemade talents. The driver line-up for the series consists of four drivers per car and must include one real race driver. So far, so good. For Porsche Coanda, the Porsche works driver and former Porsche Junior Ayhancan Güven, and his successor as Porsche Junior, Laurin Heinrich, will be two real racing drivers who are also professionals in simracing. Let’s take a look at the line-ups in detail: 

The Norwegian Tommy Østgaard was piloting the Porsche 911 RSR back in 2020 when the team crossed the Le Mans finish line first in the inaugural edition of the virtual race. Two years later, Tommy is a fully-fledged Porsche Esports works driver and drives alongside his teammate Mitchell deJong from the US. The simracing trio is completed by Zac Campbell. The American has been a familiar face for every sim racing fan since the last season of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup. The real driver for the Porsche Coanda #20 LMP2 car is Ayhancan Güven from Turkey. He was already one of the pro drivers for the victorious team in the 2020 edition of the 24-hour race. 

The Porsche Coanda #23 LMP2 car will be piloted by four drivers that are as success-driven as their teammates in the sister car. Second place is never enough for them. The Australian Joshua Rogers was also part of the first GTE success in 2020 and won the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup twice. His Dutch teammate Mack Bakkum was in the fight for last year's LMVS championship until the final laps. Martin Krönke from Germany is a seasoned sim racing pro with four world-championship titles. Not only is he fast on the track, but he will also add enormous technical motorsport expertise to the team. His compatriot, Porsche Junior Laurin Heinrich, completes the Porsche Coanda #23 line-up as the pro driver. However, he is in no way inferior to his sim racing teammates, as he has always described himself as a hybrid driver - a professional in both worlds.

Round #1 of Le Mans Virtual Series 2022-2023 will start on 17 September and will be the 8 Hours of Bahrain.
