Porsche Works Driver: Mitchell deJong

Who knew a childhood pastime could become a career? At the age of five, the American started racing go-karts for fun. Years later, when a friend introduced him to iRacing, he was instantly hooked. At first, he only used it to practice and prepare for his real-world races but, as he discovered the competitive nature of Esports, he spent more time in the simulator. Growing up around the karting track laid the foundation for racing techniques he still relies on today. His desire to compete at the top level of Esports is evident in the countless titles he has won in past years - including three wins in the iRacing 24h LeMans LMP. No matter what competition he is taking part in, deJong keeps his eyes on the podium.

How does he plan to contribute to those wins? By becoming an integral part of the team, giving his all to achieve victory in every championship and, most importantly, to do it all with a smile.
