This circuit, in the middle of the Eifel region, is one of the world's most challenging. With 73 turns and changes in elevation of up to 300m, racing drivers and motorsport teams from all over the world are always tempted to set new record times here.
Speaking of which, the current record holder for the fastest lap is the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo, clocking an impressive 5:19:55 over the 20.832km track. And, even if the sim racers in the Porsche GT3 Cup don't break the record, exciting duels are inevitable.
That’s because, approaching the eighth out of ten races, the final is coming within reach and only 31 points separate Diogo C. Pinto in first place from Zac Campbell in fourth.
Whoever wants to claim the total prize of 200,000 dollars ultimately will have to go all out next Saturday. And motorsport fans know: The Nordschleife, also known as Green Hell, doesn't allow any mistakes - it's all or nothing here.
