New series, new faces

Improving something that is good already, to make it grow and mature – that is motorsports. And while the racing cars consciously improve the same is true for our Porsche works drivers team. In 2022 we welcome two new drivers to complement the squad of works drivers: Felipe Nasr and Dane Cameron.
Both are no strangers to world of motorsports: the 29 years old Brazilian Felipe Nasr won the championships in the North American long-distance series in 2018 and 2021. With first experience in the Formula 1, he brings a broad set of experience to not only join the racing program but to intensively involve in the development of the LMDh prototype.
The American Dane Cameron won the titles of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar championship in 2016 and 2019 and will now bring his GT class experience to Porsche. The 33 years old driver will play an important role in the development of the LMDh prototype as well.

In 2022 both drivers will now go down to business in different GT competitions, joining the LMDh series with Porsche in 2023.
