Change of leadership at Porsche Motorsport.

It’s a typical situation in motorsport: The happenings race by, countless things require attention, and eyes and ears need to be kept open. Particularly when you’re in the lead.

For a long time, Fritz Enzinger was the lead of Porsche Motorsport and in charge of the fates – now, there’s a change of leadership. This too is a typical situation in Motorsport. Thomas Laudenbach will be in charge of Porsche Motorsport from October 1, 2021 onwards.

Born in Santiago de Chile, he graduated in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Karlsruhe. After a stopover in DTM, his path led him to Porsche AG in Zuffenhausen in the fall of 1998. As “Head of Development Powertrain Motorsport” he was involved in various motorsport projects. Among them: the iconic race cars 911 RSR, 911 GT3 R or the 911 GT3 Cup.

“I’m incredibly happy about the trust placed in me and the upcoming responsibilities. The big goal is to build on the great successes achieved under the leadership of Fritz Enzinger,” says Laudenbach. There’s not much to add there.
