Change of cockpits for factory driver Neel Jani.

There are many things that make a good race driver. One surely is exhibiting a compelling talent in various cockpits. Neel Jani can do exactly that.

The checkered flag for the grand finale of the Formula E fell in autumn. And it also fell for Neel Jani. The Swiss man not only finished the first season in the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team. He also finished his time in the fully electric race series. He was majorly involved in the development of the Porsche 99X Electric, and regularly provided highlights throughout the many races. And now, it’s about providing new ones – in a familiar race series.

Time for a return.

From the upcoming year onwards, Neel Jani will be sitting behind the wheel of a different race car. The native-born Swiss man will start as factory driver in the FIA WEC in 2021. He will be sharing what he calls the “Sound Monster 911 RSR” with Kévin Estre in the battle for podiums. Therefore, in the upcoming year, 2 experienced factory drivers will be piloting the starting number 92. Neel Jani already scored a success toward the end of the season during the last IMSA race in Sebring. Now, fans can look forward to the new year. And the greatest joy is in the anticipation …
