The next season of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup is just around the corner.

While the 2020 season of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup is still in progress, planning for the next season is already underway. Of course, one thing is essential for all simracers: Qualifying will start very soon. Only the Top 20 of the current season have a guaranteed starting position for next year. The 20 other places are going to be raced out in a five-week qualification phase. And everyone can qualify.

After the race comes the qualifying.

With the last race of the 2020 season on 10 October in Monza, many simracers are already preparing for the qualification phase. It will start on 20 October on the online iRacing platform. In a five-week qualification procedure, the 20 other starting places will be filled by 21 November.

The qualification process.

To be able to fight for the title in the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup next year, the participants first have to prove themselves in the Porsche iRacing Cup Series. From 20 October to 21 November, 12 races will be held every day - always 15 minutes before the full hour.

These races include a 2-lap lone qualifying and lap-based race. The 30 best racers from this weekly qualification have the opportunity to prove themselves in the five so-called Super Sessions. During the qualification phase, the Super Sessions take place every Saturday at 14:45 (GMT) on the track of the race week.

The next season already starts in January.

Racing never stops for the simracers: the next season of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup will already start in January. From January to April 2021 the world's best simracers will compete in 10 races. More information about the next season of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup will follow shortly.
