You have three dreams in mind.

“Long before I started acting, I had another big dream. The dream of becoming a racing driver,” said Michael Fassbender during an interview in early June. “My father was always a keen driver. So at a young age, I was lucky enough to be allowed behind the wheel. I still remember a long straight on private land that led to a horseshoe bend at the end. When I was twelve, I tried to go as fast as I could and take that hairpin.

Michael Fassbender has long been known as a character actor and legendary performer. And after starting out at the Porsche Driving and Racing Experience, he finally fulfilled his dream of becoming a racing driver. In the European Le Mans Series.

Meaning that his third dream is now within reach: the 24h of Le Mans.

The starting pistol for dream number three was fired today. Over the legendary 13.626 kilometres of Le Mans, Michael Fassbender competed in the Carrera Cup for the first time at Circuit de la Sarthe.

The race driver behind the person.

When you watch Michael Fassbender on the track, follow his development and get to know him as a race driver and a person, you understand how conscientious he is. He meticulously seeks solutions and constantly questions himself, while his progress shows the incredible talent he is able to unleash again and again. And even when setbacks repeatedly push him to the brink of despair, he asks himself, not for the first time, “should I really be doing this?” His answer is always the same: “yes, of course.”
