Formula E offers fast-paced excitement at close quarters—and it is one of the most technologically advanced motorsport championships today. Now the design studio Automobilist shows us its vision of where and how the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team’s 99X Electric could be racing in the year 2138.
The sixth season of Formula E has just come to an end—time to recharge our batteries for a moment, prepare with full power for the start of the next season in January and think about what we can look forward to in the future. Because if there’s one thing that’s certain it’s that motor racing will continue to make our hearts beat faster with emotion and spine-tingling moments.
With their Porsche poster series, the CGI specialists at the Automobilist design studio have already given us a glimpse of what this future could look like, transporting a 911 RSR to the moon, landing a 356 on Mars and letting the 917 KH race through a futuristic Le Mans. So how will we experience Formula E in the future? The Automobilist team came up with a fitting solution for this vision as well—inspired by the exciting season finale in Berlin.
