All change at the top. Sebastian Job is the new number one.

At Silverstone, the "Home of British Motor Racing", Red Bull Racing Esports driver, Sebastian Job, took the overall lead in the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup. Frenchman Jeremy Bouteloup won the sprint race ahead of Alejandro Sánchez and Max Benecke. In the following main 30-minute race, Alejandro Sánchez became the first Spaniard to win the Supercup, ahead of Max Benecke and third-placed Sebastian Job.

Rogers excels in qualifying.

The reigning champion, Joshua Rogers, managed to achieve the best lap in the qualifying session, race after race. Which resulted in the usual 8th place on the grid for him. At the start Rogers was surrounded by his strongest competitors. Sebastian Job started right next to him and Max Benecke from row in front of him.

Sprint race with surprise winner.

VRS Coanda Simsport driver, Jeremy Bouteloup, had yet to show what he is made of in this season’s Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup. And he did – he defended his 1st place in the sprint race. Alejandro Sánchez and Max Benecke followed in 2nd and 3rd place, passing Red Bull Racing Esports driver, Patrik Holzmann, with a double overtaking manoeuvre. Holzmann, who had not been blessed with luck in previous races, gave up the fight and, in all fairness, left space for his competitors.

Job surpasses Rogers. Sánchez with his first victory.

Bouteloup also started the main race from pole position. But as early as corner 1, Alejandro Sánchez and Max Benecke took the lead at Silverstone. The Spaniard defended his 1st place with a confident, faultless race and strong speed until the end. Max Benecke, and later also Sebastian Job, rejected the risk of a possible overtaking manoeuvre in view of the championship points to be won and were satisfied with their 2nd and 3rd places respectively. But what happened to the overall leader and defending champion, Joshua Rogers? As early as lap 1, he failed in an overtaking manoeuvre and was thrown off the track by a chasing vehicle. Fortunately, he was able to continue the race - but had to recover from 28th place. In the end, he crossed the finish line in 17th position. Although this earned him important points, Rogers was unable to prevent Sebastian Job from taking the overall lead.

Open title fight for the rest of the season.

There are numerous signs that we will see a repeat of the final thriller in Monza. Like last year, all the drivers share a similar performance level. Making predictions impossible. There is just 2 weeks to prepare the car and driver for the next race on a new track at Road Atlanta. As usual, the race on 1 August will be streamed live on the Porsche YouTube and Twitch channels. #jointherace
