It's off to Silverstone for the next race of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup.

After the fans of virtual racing at the Nürburgring were not able to get their beloved racing action due to technical problems, the anticipation for race #6 in the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup is, as expected, great. So, it is only natural that the next race track will also be a real highlight: Silverstone.

The circuit is also rightly called by many as "the home of British motorsport" - because the converted airfield has now played host to special motorsport events for more than 70 years. Just like the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup. For much of its history, Silverstone was known for its ultra-fast sweeping corners and fast average speeds. Though the requirements of modern racing series forced the addition of chicanes and other devices to slow speeds down from the insane to the merely ridiculous. Nevertheless, the track retains many of the characteristics that originally made it famous.

The clash of the simracing elite.

When the world's best simracers meet on Saturday 18 July, excitement is guaranteed. This season's driver field is brimming with high-quality drivers. What you can already tell after the first races: every race writes its own history. The big question for the upcoming race in Silverstone is therefore: who will emerge as the winner and rewrite history? Do we see the next home victory of the British simracer Sebastian Job, who will be competing for the Red Bull Racing Esports team? Or can last year's winner and Virtual Le Mans winner Joshua Rogers defend his lead in the standings? Once thing we know for sure: it will definitely be a spectacle.

Ready. Set. Live.

We are curious to see who will be setting the tone at Silverstone. We will have our answers on Saturday 18 July. After the qualifying for the sprint, our live broadcast will start with that very race. As usual, the result of the sprint race will determine the starting grid for the 30-minute main race. Follow the race live here on the Porsche Motorsport HUB and the Porsche YouTube and Twitch channel. Be there when the best simracers in the world conquer the Silverstone track. #jointherace
