The ‘Grande Finale’ in Monza goes live.

The last two races of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2020 Virtual Edition start Saturday, May 16th. We’ll be broadcasting an invigorating 120 minutes of live racing action from the virtual Autodromo Nazionale Monza to motorsports fans around the world. Witness uncompromising position showdowns from digital SimRacers, like the battle for the final top position between #22 Ayhancan Güven (TUR/martinet by Alméras) and #25 Larry ten Voorde (NLD/GP Elite), who are separated by only two points in the Overall Category. But #2 Dylan Pereira (LUX/BWT Lechner Racing) in 3rd place isn’t too far behind. One thing is for sure, Monza’s digital asphalt is to boil once the red lights are off and the virtual six-cylinders roar!

What’s the secret ingredient that makes these showdowns so exciting? Speed, of course! And fortunately for all of us, speed is exactly what this legendary course delivers. In fact, driven at full throttle, Monza is the fastest of the Virtual Edition circuits. The mix of long straights, challenging chicanes and curve combinations require maximum vehicle control and perfectly timed braking from the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup drivers. Another one of Monza’s highlights are its high curbs, promising spectacular jumps. All of this put together makes the Autodromo Nazionale in Monza a terrific option for a fast and furious Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Virtual Edition ‘Grande Finale.’

The action starts with the qualifying rounds at 4:00pm (CEST). Followed by the first race of the day scheduled between 4:20pm and 4:45pm (CEST). The starting shot for the final race of the virtual series goes off at 5:12 pm (CEST). We look forward to an entertaining racing afternoon for all motorsport enthusiasts.
