Season final and race no. 4: Highlights of Super Sim Racing Saturday.

All motorsport fans can get geared up for the following weekend. Because on May 16 it’s Super Sim Racing Saturday again – including the season final of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Virtual Edition and the 4th race of the ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge.

The countdown is running for the drivers – and some would prefer getting into their simulators today rather than tomorrow, ready to prove just how exciting sim racing can be on digital racetracks. And the next chance to do just that is this coming Saturday. A day dedicated to virtual motorsport; a day where real highlights expect everyone involved.

Season final of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Virtual Edition.

On Super Sim Racing Saturday, the last two races of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Virtual Edition are all about the season victory. The showdown will take place on the historic Autodromo Nazionale in Monza. That’s where the drivers will have to keep the pace one more time and prove what they are capable of. The season final is bound to be the climax, as 3 drivers are of particular interest: Porsche Junior Ayhancan Güven and Larry ten Voorde were regularly engaged in exciting duels against each other throughout the season and their points are an incredibly close call – quickly followed by Dylan Pereira. After his victory in the 5th race, he yet has the chance to score the overall victory. It’s bound to stay gripping in Italy. One thing is for sure: in races 7 and 8 on Saturday fans can expect true racing highlights for the end of the season.

Race 4 of the ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge.

Also on the same day, both drivers of the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team, Neel Jani and André Lotterer, are participating in the 4th race of the ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge. It’ll keep fans on the edge of their seats to see if both Porsche drivers can keep up their performance of the past few races. So far, both were able to secure great spots and the first points for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team. And now the motto is full focus for race number 4. The hunt for more points enters the next round.

As usual, fans can watch both series live via stream: once more virtually taking place on the racetrack stands and experiencing pure motorsport. Without even leaving home.
