Ready to race: the teams of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup. Part 1/3.

Since 2012, the Esports Team of Apex Racing has been competing in the most prestigious virtual races. The professional team focusses on the highest racing classes worldwide. Last year, the drivers Antoine Higelin, Jarrad Filsell, Kevin Ellis Jr, and Jamie Fluke already achieved very strong results in the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup and made it into the top 20 at the end of the season. One more driver made it to the grid through the qualifying: Yohann Harth will join his team mates.

The relatively young team from Altus Esports has been competing for titles in the world's biggest competitions since 2018. Although the team's drivers feel at home on iRacing's virtual race tracks, they also have some very impressive race victories on other platforms. In the first season of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup 2019, Tuomas Tähtelä already competed for the team. For the 2020 season, two more drivers qualified successfully: Dayne Warren and Joshua Anderson.

Since 2016, the SimRacers of Vendaval Simracing have been hunting for best times on the virtual race tracks of the world. Since then, the team's drivers have regularly made it into the top 10 rankings of the most prestigious virtual race series on iRacing. This success has paid off. Two of the team's drivers qualified for the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup: Matti Kaidesoja and Valtteri Alander.

The achievements of Red Bull Racing in motorsport speak for themselves. The virtual ones, too. In the first edition of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup, the three drivers, Graham Caroll, Patrik Holzmann and Sebastian Job, were always right at the forefront. This performance was crowned with a 3rd place in the overall standings by Sebastian Job. Now, in 2020, all three drivers are once again on the hunt for points for Red Bull, and will very likely cause a stir at the 10 races. Sebastion Job already made it to the top level of the virtual podium at the test race at the end of March.
