Day 2 in Riyadh: The Qualifying is finished.

The second race day of the season in Riyadh also started with the drivers vying for the best placements in the Qualifying. The drivers for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team started from groups 1 and 3.

Yesterday’s number 2 André Lotterer kicked off today in the highly competitive group 1 and had to face off against previous winner Sam Bird, Stoffel Vandoorne, Oliver Rowland, Robin Frijns and Nyck de Vries. Despite the slippery track, Porsche pilot André Lotterer managed to drive on 2nd place behind Sam Bird and scored a good starting position for the final line-up.

Neel Jani started in group 3 with Lucas Di Grassi, Antonio Felix Da Costa, Oliver Turvey, James Calado and Maximilian Günther, finishing the Qualifying as well. Therefore, Andrè Lotterer will be starting from position 10 and Neel Jani from position 19 into the second race of the season. After yesterday’s performance, we can barely wait for the starting lights in Riyadh to turn off once more …
