The clock is ticking, and the final preparations are in full swing. Tomorrow it will be getting serious for our pilots André Lotterer and Neel Jani in the desert city.
Somehow it is poetic that the first race is due to take place in the far away Riyadh. The road to reach it was long – in the truest sense of the word. In the beginning there was zero. Bar the unconditional will to be part of the most modern racing series of the world. Everything else had to be earned through countless working hours. For this reason, too, the trip to Riyadh was filled with anticipation. And hunger for the first race. But before we start tomorrow morning with two free practice sessions, followed by the qualifying and finally for the race at noon, there is still a lot of work to do.
