An eventful race.

The TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E team experienced an emotional rollercoaster last weekend at the fourth race of the season in Mexico. And yet, the team is taking some positives back home with them.

Looking back on last weekend's race from a distance, this is probably slightly unbelievable due to the developments in Mexico City. A dream start and the first pole position for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E team was followed by bitter disappointment. In a hard-fought race filled with incidents, it was difficult to find the right rhythm. The intensity of the action on the track is certainly further proof of the top-class field. The race day in Mexico, for example, took a different course than that envisioned by the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E team.

The right look.

Now it is a matter of correctly classifying the course of Mexico. After only four races in the first season, to have already achieved a podium finish and a pole position is quite remarkable. And we must not lose sight of the performance of the entire TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E team: qualifying with this result was not only a success for the whole team, but a further step in the right direction. It added an exclamation mark. And proved that the vehicle and set-up work. Even with the best work, a lack of luck can play a big role. Even a few days after the race, it can be seen that the pace was right from the start – without this and the driving skills of André Lotterer, we wouldn't have achieved pole position. Our anticipation for race five of the current season in Marrakesh has not changed, so looking ahead also plays a part in the right classification.
