They fought for three months. Won the virtual qualification tournaments and the regional online play-offs. Now, the grand finale is imminent. The 12 best of the best players from all over the world will battle for the victory of the "Asphalt Esports Series by Black Shark" at Gamescom in Cologne on Wednesday 21 August 2019. The race car that will make one of them number 1 is no less than the new Porsche Formula E.

Gamescom is the largest gaming event in Europe. It will take place in Cologne from 20–24 August 2019. This year, for the first time there will be a separate e-sports stage. 1,500 spectators will be there when the 12 finalists take the world's first places in the new Porsche Formula E. The first all-electric race car in the corporate history of Porsche is unveiled on stage in "Asphalt 9: Legends" as the official vehicle for the finale. In the end, there can be only one winner. They can look forward to €20,000 in prize money and fame for the legendary first victory in the Porsche Formula E.

The Porsche Formula E will take to the starting grid on the real race track for the first time in December, when Porsche enters Formula E for the 2019/2020 season. For anyone who can’t wait until then, this is one more reason to come to Gamescom and experience the finale up close.
