Porsche Carrera Cup Germany is looking for its first Esports champion.

Who will be the first champion of the Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Deutschland? At the final of the virtual one-make cup at the ADAC SimRacing Expo held at the Nuerburgring on August 30, twelve drivers will compete against each other. The special feature: Six SimRacers measure up to six drivers from the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland during the race at the gaming fair. Currently, international SimRacers are fighting in an online qualifying for a starting place at the final.

The qualification phase for the online players consists of two stages in order to secure a starting position for the online semi-final. After the opening race last weekend, the next round is right around the corner. From the 9th to the 11th of August the second session will be held - the virtual ride will be on the legendary Silverstone Circuit. The Top 30 (fastest lap times) can grab a ticket for the online semi-final. The racetrack of the semi-final is secret - so tension and equal opportunities are guaranteed.

Setting fastest lap times in the simulator – the drivers of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland will face this mission at the next two race weekends in Zandvoort and at the Nuerburgring. Not on the real tracks, the pilots virtually prove their talent in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The best six then clash the top six SimRacers at the ADAC SimRacing Expo.

In the finale on August 30, three sessions will be held: After a training session and a ten-minute qualifying, the decision on the first champion of the Porsche Esports Carrera Cup Deutschland will be made in a half-hour sprint race. The prize for the best SimRacer is an invitation to the Carrera Cup - with a look behind the scenes, a Grid Walk, overnight stay and access to the Porsche Hospitality. The fastest driver from the national one-make cup can look forward to an individualized racing suit.

As a platform for the debut of the championship, Porsche relies on the established racing simulation Assetto Corsa. Fans can follow the online semi-finals and finals at the ADAC SimRacing Expo at www.racecam.de.
