Porsche factory driver: Frédéric Makowiecki

Like for many others, Frédéric Makowiecki's career began on the Kart track after showing a keen interest in motorsport at a young age. Born and raised in France, his path into the world of motorsport first led him to Formula 3. At the age of 20, he successfully tested himself in Formula 3's B-class, yet it was the move to GT racing the following year that defined his career.

At an early point of this phase of his career, Frédéric Makowiecki participated in the Porsche Carrera Cup in France and proved his talent there. Throughout his participation, he regularly finished in the top 5 of the drivers' rankings.

Therefore, it wasn't a surprise to see Frédéric Makowiecki as a Porsche factory driver since 2014. At Le Mans in particular, he repeatedly achieved top positions in the GT category.

It would be perfect to achieve the overall victory with the Porsche 963 during the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

With his experience in Le Mans and as one of the drivers of vehicle #5, the chances for the Porsche Penske Motorsport Team are looking good. And what will be present throughout it all: Makowiecki’s infectious grin.
