Porsche Works Driver: Martin Krönke

The internet changed a lot of things for many people – especially for the sim racing community. As soon as Martin Krönke got his connection to the web set up in 2002, he immediately joined forces with like-minded people online. Playing racing games alone became a thing of the past. Long before that, in 1996, the German driver had his first contact with the racing world playing Nascar Racing 2 from Papyrus (a distant great-grandfather of iRacing). From then on, his interest in motorsports only grew stronger. Although he started out rather casually, he became competitive for the first time in 2005 with the game Live for Speed. Since then, he has won countless races, series and championships including a VRS GT iRacing World Championship title in 2019. To him, being a one-man show is not enough to be successful:

His goal is to be able to drive at the front for a few more years. With the great teammates he has now, that goal is more than achievable.
