Porsche in Formula E 2024: an overview

TAG Heuer Porsche Team goes for victory

The ABB FIA Formula E is the youngest of all racing series and is entering its tenth season this year. It is the only racing series to use purely electric single-seaters. The highlights of Formula E are the track layouts: This is because most of the races take place on city circuits. Normal roads and sports arenas become race tracks. This is where the ten teams fight for the world championship titles in the driver and team rankings during the seven-month season. This racing backdrop creates a special fascination - for drivers and spectators as well. The TAG Heuer Formula E Team will be at the start for Porsche Motorsport - for the fifth time in a row.

Team

Pascal Wehrlein (#94): Fast, determined and with a lot of racing experience - Pascal Wehrlein has already raced in Formula 1 and was the youngest champion in the DTM. Born in Sigmaringen in 1994, he now lives in Switzerland.

António Félix Da Costa (#13): Starting at twelve in karting, then Formula Renault 2.0 Cup, Macau Grand Prix and Le Mans; the Portuguese driver, born in 1991, has a long list of successes. His entry into Formula E is the fulfillment of a long-cherished dream.

Replacement driver

David Beckmann: Born in Hagen in 2000, David Beckmann is the latest addition to the TAG Heuer Porsche Team. Like most of his colleagues, he started out in karting as a child and later gained racing experience in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship and the FIA Formula 2 European Championship, among others.

André Lotterer: Born in Duisburg in 1981, he celebrated his successful debut in Formula E with the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team in November 2019. The three-time Le Mans winner intends to dominate the FIA World Endurance Championship with the Porsche Penske Motorsport Team this year.
