Talent forge
Teamplayer, media professional and of course, driving talent: These are just three of many important attributes taken into consideration during the selection of the Porsche Junior 2024. Twelve candidates have the chance to take the next big step in their young career on the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve.
They have come from all corners of the world with one common goal: to be selected as Porsche Junior 2024. One of twelve candidates from countries such as New Zealand, the Netherlands and Latvia will receive support of up to 225,000 Euros as well as comprehensive support from Porsche Motorsport. These candidates have proven themselves in their regional Porsche Carrera Cups and have been nominated by local Porsche locations for the Junior selection process.
In the past, the "Porsche Junior" title has served many as a stepping stone to the major competitions in motorsport. Most recently in the DTM 2023 season, Thomas Preining (Porsche Junior 2017 to 2018) became the first Porsche champion. Marc Lieb, Sports Communication Manager at Porsche, was a Porsche Junior from 2000 to 2002 and won the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
