Swiss racing talent pool: FACH AUTO TECH.
A few questions for the team manager.
FACH AUTO TECH has the youngest driver line-up on the grid this season. What's the idea behind that?
The idea is always to give young and talented drivers a great future and encourage them to take the next step in their motorsport career. We really prefer to work with young drivers that we can develop. It's great to see them grow and push them towards a promising future in motorsport.
What are your goals and expectations for the team this season?
Our expectations are always high. We always want to win races, we are always here to win and to finish on top. This season we are aiming for the title in the Rookie Classification and for podiums in general. We'll see what's possible with this young driver line-up, but I'm quite confident.
How will the team approach each race weekend in 2023?
We always 'reset' at home in Switzerland, where we can relax with our families and also with the team. There's always a lot of work to do to prepare for the next races, so we have to work closely together to be well prepared.
Which races are you most looking forward to – and why?
I'm looking forward to all the races, but perhaps most of all to the race in Monaco. I think it's always exciting to race on the streets of that city. Most of the riders don't know the track very well because you can't practice here, which adds an extra element of excitement.
Personally, I am also looking forward to Monza. It's like our home race because it's closest to Switzerland, and it's also the last race of the season.
What are your personal feelings about the great opportunity Alex has given you to be team manager?
It's a great honour for me and I'm really happy that Alex has given me this opportunity. I've been working for FACH AUTO TECH for seven and a half years now and I've been in the background a lot. Now I am able to be at every race and feel the emotions on the track. This is something really special for me! I am really looking forward to my role as Team Manager for FACH AUTO TECH – it's going to be a challenging season.
Thanks a lot for the talk, Nadine.
