The next challenge of the Le Mans Virtual Series takes the Porsche Coanda Esports Racing Team to Belgium, to virtual Spa-Francorchamps. The works drivers Mitchell deJong, Tommy Østgaard, Mack Bakkum and Joshua Rogers will pilot the two Porsche Coanda #20 and #23 LMP2 cars again. After the last round's podium at Monza, the team is eager to go for the top step this time. The line-up will be completed by support driver Martin Krönke and sim racing ace Zac Campbell who'll join the others as the third driver like they did in round #1 in Bahrain.
A virtual roller coaster ride for the Esports works team.
The Porsche Coanda Esports Racing team will aim for the first win after Mitchell deJong’s first pole position for the team at Monza and both cars being caught up by an unfavourable full-course-yellow phase. The 7.004 kilometres long track in the Ardennes will be the ideal venue for this challenge. At Porsche, they remember Spa-Francorchamps quite well. Legends like Derek Bell, Jacky Ickx and various customer teams left their mark with the Porsche 956 and 962. Though, the Porsche Esports works team starts with a clean sheet and it is eager to mark another milestone in the team's history.
