The Porsche Supercup returns to the "City of Racing," and the anticipation could hardly be greater: The street circuit can only be driven on race weekends, and it doesn't forgive any driving mistakes. Spectacular races like the one in 2021 are inevitable.
The Circuit de Monaco has been on the Porsche Supercup's calendar since the start of the series in 1993. Only the pandemic prevented the race from being held as part of the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco in 2020. The 29th appearance of the Supercup on this legendary circuit is one of the absolute highlights of the season for teams, drivers and fans alike.
Incidentally, the first Porsche Supercup race here was won by a guest driver whose name is still held in high esteem in the motorsport world: none other than the Formula 1 world champion Mika Häkkinen. For his two guest appearances in our debut season, he received a purple Porsche Cabriolet with a pink leather interior, which he liked so much that he later bought it.
