Written all over his face.

Eyes squeezed shut, sweat breaking out, the pressure of the moment literally falling away. The forehead is marked by the imprint of the fireproof protective clothing left behind by the tightness of the helmet. Hands sweep over the worn face. They wipe away the strain of one of the biggest races in motorsports. At least temporarily, because it's not over yet. Only the stint is over.


When this picture was taken in 2019 during the Nürburgring 24h race, Porsche driver Laurens Vanthoor's efforts in the green hell are literally written all over his face. Because he has once again given everything. On display is a picture from behind the scenes. One that gives motorsport its face: honest, exhausting, and pure
