Dinamic – Forza Italia in the Supercup.

A German horse on a golden background instead of a prancing stallion on yellow: The Italian Dinamic Motorsport team under team manager Giuliano Bottazzi drive racing cars made in Weissach, not in Maranello. And it’s a winning formula.

In the garages of the racing team from Reggio Emilia, you won’t just find the brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, but other Porsche racing cars, as well. Reliability and efficiency are the two main reasons for this. The team is focusing on consistently good performance and good results on the circuits. And there are plenty of circuits close by: Monza, Imola and Misano are all popular test tracks for Dinamic Motorsport.
The racing team was founded in 2011 by ex-racing driver Maurizio Lusuardi. They qualified for the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup via the Italian Carrera Cup. In their debut season in 2017, Mattia Drudi was one of the Rookies at the wheel. He immediately made his mark by clinching two podium finishes for the team – one at their home track in Monza. A result that he was even able to top in 2018.

We are very proud to represent Italy across Europe. Tifosi, vi amiamo!

Team manager Giuliano Bottazzi describes Dinamic Motorsport as an Italian team with a German mindset: emotional, but dedicated to top performance. With #16 Simone Iaquinta (ITA), the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia Champion from 2019 and 2020 is at the wheel. He finished the Supercup Season Test in Monza with the seventh-fastest time in the field. Rookie #14 Lodovico Laurini (ITA) and ProAm #15 Philipp Sager (AUT) are also getting faster and faster.

We are always hoping to surprise everyone anywhere at any time but if I have to choose I’ll pick winning at our home track in Monza this season.

What can we look forward to next season?

In 2020, the team finished 3rd in the ProAm Classification. Apart from this success, it was an unhappy season – partly because American Jaden Conwright couldn’t take his place behind the wheel until the 6th race, thanks to the pandemic. In 2021, of course, things will be different. We talked to Davide Noé, the official representative of Dinamic Motorsport, to find out more.

Hello Davide.
From ProAm to Rookie, all of your drivers compete in different Classifications. Where do you see your best chances?

All the Classifications in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup compete at the highest level possible. We will try our best and push very hard to fight for the win in each of those three Classifications.

What do you expect from the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup this season?

The new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is a true beauty of a car. The most interesting parts are the front suspension and the massive wing, which gives us a lot more aerodynamics compared to the previous model. Especially on tracks like the Hungaroring and Spa-Francorchamps the new aerodynamics of the car will make a huge difference.

What is your biggest trump card this season? Where will your team surprise everyone?

We are always hoping to surprise everyone anywhere at any time but if I have to choose I’ll pick winning at our home track in Monza this season.

Italian fans are known for being the most emotional motorsport enthusiasts. What’s your message to them?

We are very proud to represent Italy across Europe. Tifosi, vi amiamo!

What do you think of Porsche’s plans to promote sustainability in their one-make cups?

I think it is a very interesting project and I really hope that this is the way we can help motorsport to survive without becoming fully electric.

Davide, thank you so much for the chat.
