Porsche Junior Driver: Sven Müller

As 12-year-old, Sven Müller laid the foundation for his motorsport career: Like some, he began driving in Karting. He participated there for five years in different Kart races until he switched out his Kart for a single seater in 2010. Another four years went by in this motorsport category, and he first won podium spots in Germany and finally, in Europe.

 

2013 onwards, the German went on to participate in the next field. His performance so far had drawn quite some attention – so he was invited to the shootout for the Porsche Junior 2014 and was selected. With that, Müller participated in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, achieving good Rookie placements. It turned into a busy year for the then 21-year-old.

When Sven Müller is not racing on internationally reknown racetracks, he is often by the water: either to relax beside his home koi pond or while fishing in nature. Both offer a calming contrast to his fast-paced job as motorsport driver.

 

But Müller's daily life is not fully without motorsport. His brother is his immediate neighbor and runs a car workshop. The Porsche driver regularly helps out due to being a trained mechanic. He also incorporates his knowledge in his daily dealings in motorsports and it shows in his successes. In the past years, he has achieved good placings in endurance races at Nürburgring, Spa and Barcelona.
